President, CEO, Artesian Resources Corporation
Dian C. Taylor is President, CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors of Artesian Resources Corporation and its subsidiary companies. She joined Artesian in 1991 as Executive Vice President. In 1992, Ms. Taylor was named Chief Executive Office and in 1993 was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors.
Artesian Water Company, the principal subsidiary, is the oldest and largest regulated water utility on the Delmarva Peninsula. In 1996, the corporation went public with a listing on the NASDAQ Select Global Market.
Ms. Taylor currently serves and is a member of several boards and organizations: she is a member of the Board of Governors of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association, and a Trustee of Christiana Care Hospitals. Ms. Taylor is a past President of the National Association of Water Companies.
Previously, Ms. Taylor served as a Visiting Director of Citizens Bank, Delaware, Councilwoman on the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council (DEFAC), a member of the Delaware Council on Economic Education, a Commissioner for the Delaware River and Bay Authority, First Vice President of the Committee of 100, member of the Board of Advisors for Goldey-Beacom’s Business College, the Visiting Committee at the University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics, President of the Delaware Chapter of the International Women’s Forum, a Trustee of the Grand Opera House, and a member of the Board of Directors of the SPCA.
