David A. Tam, MD, MBA, CPHE, FACHE, is the President & CEO of Beebe Healthcare. A distinguished and accomplished healthcare executive, he joined Beebe in 2020 and led the organization during the COVID-19 pandemic. He completed his pediatrics residency at the US

Naval Hospital in Oakland, California, and a pediatric neurology fellowship at the Medical

College of Virginia. He retired from the Navy as a Captain after 24 years of service. Dr. Tam is a

board-certified fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and sits on the Board of

Directors for the Delaware Healthcare Association and Delaware State Chamber of Commerce.

He was named CEO of the Year by Delaware Business Times in the Large Nonprofit category in

2022 and one of Delaware’s Most Influential People in Healthcare by Delaware Online.
