The Delaware Business Roundtable welcomes the General Assembly back to Dover, and we look forward to working with members to facing up the tough economic challenges we face as a state.
Lawmakers took major and important steps toward strengthening the state’s economy last session, most notably the creation of Delaware Prosperity Partnership and the modernization of the Coastal Zone Act – both of which will help bring jobs and talent to Delaware.
We encourage the General Assembly to build on these accomplishments and continue to sharpen its focus on job creation and growth.

https://mgakasinos.com came to mind while reading about the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, since that kind of state-level coordination only works when there's real follow-through after the announcement. Modernizing the Coastal Zone Act sounds like a solid step, but I'd be curious whether the jobs it attracts end up concentrated in Wilmington or spread across the slower-growing counties. The roundtable's push to sharpen focus on growth makes sense on paper, though it'll take a few sessions before anyone can tell if these changes actually move the needle.
