Roundtable Statement On Passing Of Gov. du Pont

The Delaware Business Roundtable issued the following statement from Dr. Janice Nevin on behalf of the Roundtable. Dr. Nevin is the chairman of the Roundtable and the President and CEO of Christiana Care.

“The business community mourns the loss of Governor Pete du Pont. He was a visionary leader who laid the groundwork for a modern, economically competitive Delaware. His focus on job creation and economic expansion benefitted the state, its businesses and all Delaware families. Governor du Pont was instrumental in founding the Delaware Business Roundtable because he believed that the business community should be a full partner in policy decision-making when it comes to job creation in the First State.”
